Typical Costa Rican Latin Creole cuisine

The Dining Room at Coyote Mountain serves inspired cuisine derived from the traditional Central American cooking and plentiful food ingredients of Costa Rica. The kitchen utilizes Costa Rica's local abundance of fresh tropical and temperate foods, many from the Inn's own gardens and orchards, in a daily-changing fixed menu.
 
Breakfasts offer a choice of omelletes, eggs, or pan perdu with locally made preserves preceeded by a fresh fruit plate.

Four-course candle-lit dinners chage daily, usually featuring fresh fowl or seafood. A typical menu may include:

  • Tropical Soup with Fresh Vegetables, Baby Corn, & Lemongrass with a Base of Home Made Chicken Stock
  • Heart of Palm Salad with Creamy Herb Vinaigrette
  • Grilled Chicken with a Creole Banana Cream Sauce
  • Orange-Chocolate Mousse made with Creole Oranges from Our Own Groves

  • Wild Mushroom Soup
  • Tomato and Feta Salad with Jerez Sherry Dressing
  • Macadamia Nut Crusted Fresh Marlin Blanco Fillets
  • Fresh mango Tart with a Side Tasting of 99% Pure Chocolate
Costa Rica Latin cuisine with Spanish influences is prepared by our accomplished cooks Rosa Lidia Matamoros and Antonia Peregrina, both of whom trained with professional chefs in Spain, France, and Central Americ. Half Board is $55 per person and Full Board is $80 per person. Breakfast only is $20 per person.
 
Wine, beer, and beverages are available for purchase. There is 18% service added upon checkout.

The Dining Room

The elegant Dining Room, with its 26' cathedral ceiling and stunning vistas of the Pacific Ocean provide a relaxing ambiance for the Inn's en famille dining experience, where you dine with fellow guests for lunch and dinner.

The Courtyard

The Hacienda's interior courtyard also hosts dining tables for 2-4 persons outside, weather permitting. Enjoy the sparkling fountains and beautiful garden plantings while savoring our gourmet Creole cuisine!
