Antonia Peregrina is a graduate in philology from the University of Granada (Spain), where she has also
studied towards a doctorate in language and literature. She has years of experience teaching Spanish language classes
to non-native speakers. Ms Peregrina has served as the academic director at Carmen de Las Cuevas school in Granada and Abadat
Spanish language and culture school in Ubeda, Spain, before moving to Costa Rica.

The Instructors
Antonia Peregrina has studied Romance languages and literatures at the University of Granada and
the University of Aix-en-Provence in France, specializing in French and the instruction of Spanish as a foreign language,
and has taught at the University of Jaen. She is completing her doctorate at the University of Granada. Ms. Peregrina has
taught Spanish for 16 years, including time spent in France and Costa Rica. She has substantial experience in teacher training,
and in preparing students for the official Spanish examinations (DELE), and is a specialist in phoenetics and pronunciation
across the Spanish-speaking world. She has designed and coordinated programs for the learning of Spanish from the most basic
to the most advanced levels. She is an intuitive instructor, and adapts classes and materials to student's needs. She
regularly hones her teaching skills by participating in continuing education programs.
